The Willys CJ-2A was the first civilian Jeep produced by Willys-Overland after the Second World War. Based on the legendary Willys MB, it combined the rugged mechanical design of its military predecessor with practical usability for farming, industry and recreational driving. Thanks to its simple construction, low weight and excellent off-road capabilities, the CJ-2A became an icon whose basic principles are still recognisable in modern Jeep models today.

This example is finished in the classic Army Green colour and benefits from an older professional restoration. It is powered by a period-correct 2,200 cc four-cylinder engine, paired with a 3-speed manual gearbox. The bodywork has been repainted in its original colour and shows normal signs of use consistent with an older restoration. The underside and engine bay reflect an older restoration, perfectly matching the honest character of this classic Jeep. This vehicle combines a Willys MB body with a CJ-2A chassis. The stamped chassis number 19608 corresponds to a 1946 Willys CJ-2A, while a period-correct engine is fitted. This combination is not uncommon among historic Willys vehicles and makes this Jeep particularly appealing to enthusiasts of the early Jeep models.
